"The Wrecking Crew" is an eye-opening documentary that tells the story of a group of highly skilled Los Angeles-based session musicians, also known as "The Wrecking Crew," who played on countless hit records throughout the 1960s and early 1970s, backing artists like The Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, Sonny & Cher, and The Monkees, often without receiving proper credit for their instrumental contributions to the music.

The film is directed by Denny Tedesco whose father, guitarist, Tommy Tedesco was a prominent member of the Wrecking Crew.
