“Girrl?!?!”, TJ blurted gleefully. “Girrrrrl!!!” replied the loud giddy but tinny voice from out of the cell phone making them both erupt in joyous laughter. This was the usual greeting between TJ and two of her oldest childhood classmates.

Reconnecting with old trusted friends really grounds her in a way that nothing else can, especially when your job takes you away from everyone you know for whole months at a time. Something about their vibe just made her feel like a regular person again rather than just an emotionless robot that's expected to always work perfectly and do so without ever a single doubt.

TJ excitedly plops down "criss-cross apple sauce" into her oversized plush papasan chair in her sprawling contemporary flat and immediately reverts to a sassy tween as she unabashedly enjoys this rare moment with a couple of her favorite people.

DAY: How ya’ been, big shot? We haven’t seen you in ages!

TJ: You know they got me working constantly over here. We just recorded all new stuff and are about to go on tour again, girl.

DAY: Again?! Seems like you just got back from your last one. Kinda hate we missed your dad performing with you guys again. He's really got y'all on a whole 'nother level now.

TJ: Well, that’s kinda what I wanted to talk to you about. See, these new songs we’re doing are really special to me but its unlike anything we've ever done before. I worry if they’re any good and its got me a nervous wreck. Anyway, we’re doing them at our next gig at home in Akasha next weekend, and I kinnnda need a little support from my “day ones”, just like back when I used to look up to you and Night-

DAY: Awwwww!!! Say no more, chica; we are so there! NIGHHT; FIELD TRIP TO AKASHAAA!!! TJ needs us!

NIGHT: takes phone from Day WILL THERE BE METAL?

TJ: Victorious Secret is performing with us, so yes, there will definitely be Metal.

NIGHT: Good girl. See ya’ there, toots.
